History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Verna has worked very hard to control her curse. She now mingles about in high society.

He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
