History: Gifted from a young age, Tree studied abroad. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miller and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his brother
