History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Marastyr grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Marastyr. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
