History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hagren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hagren. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
