Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for him, and Veit does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Veit was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'1" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Finellen was born the youngest of three triplets. Finellen was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Finellen decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the east. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and expand his business

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his lance with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His brown hair is matted, messy, and big. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: She is an average looking eastern female in her early mid-life. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. This red eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has all her life been fascinated with singing.

History: Vezera was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
