Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length brass crest. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He worked as a nervous Miner and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Barkeep, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: He is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. He carries a battered flail and tarnished kukri as well. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the left. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thervan embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thervan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thervan. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. His yellow fur is unkempt and raggedy. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: She stands about 4'8" and dresses like a well dressed Farmer does. Her left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. She has styled her auburn hair well, parting it to the left. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Myev was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Spy, but she got bored and became a Farmer. She's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Farmer responsibilities is difficult; and to get a good night's sleep
