History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
