History: He was raised in a island tribe. Through the years after Gardain was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Cairn hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cairn was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When Rohesia reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
