History: Jasmine was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Jasmine was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second son.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Mary was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Map Maker. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.
