History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shoemaker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She is greedy; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

History: He was born in a small mountains village. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion
