History: Gifted from a young age, Emerald studied abroad. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He likes to wear grey tank tops with pastel pants. His hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Elaim never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barrister and was forced into it by his family; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Doctor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Doctor for the past few years.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vaina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Vaina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
