She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and her gloved hand is found clutching a scythe. Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Portia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. After a long history of fighting, Damien and his spouse have recently divorced.
