He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has worked as a Layabout like his father before him.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Portia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
