Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Dean and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Dean discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Dean fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Carpenter mother left her crippled. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Ombul hails from a village terrorized by orcs. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away.

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, but does not cut a very imposing figure. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a courier and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Raiann was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her youth she was a Ruler, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
