History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses like a well dressed Layabout does. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born into a rich family. He worked as a nervous Stylist and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
