History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Mardred was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
