History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Sark learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shamash grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Shamash took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up trident and armor he uses now. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
