History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pennie grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pennie grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pennie. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.
