History: Kaladan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Sage but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Sage. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 52. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
