After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against brigands

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She struck the Shoemaker job and began her own company from there.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She is a Maurezhi in disguise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Abalaba took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
