Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Naeris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Tiaathque and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she's repulsed by the pc
