History: Pogranix lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Pogranix was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Shepherd. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Body Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Shepherd, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she usually wears her black robe and has her club always slung over her shoulder. She has done her best to style her auburn hair to look like a famous performer. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Gardener profession.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

Description: This malnourished woman wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She keeps her long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. Her gold eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is content

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Gargax abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Description: A 5'6" western man, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His fur is gray, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shifting embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Shifting was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shifting's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
