Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alston does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Alston reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Alston and his spouse have recently divorced.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Crown-heir business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Crown-heir for the past few years.
