History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Rolf took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He became a Butcher soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult.

Description: She wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'8" when asserting herself. She has done her best to style her auburn hair to look like a famous performer. Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he would like to get married and retire
