Smoking's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born into a rich family. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Assassin, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
