Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Calcitro grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Halfling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ilga was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Knight. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and regain custody of his son
