History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Malquis was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Malquis's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Riardon began to lead the lost caravan. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: The child of a Bounty Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Keyleth was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Keyleth was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Now he works as a dancing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent father
