Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Barendd was born the youngest of three triplets. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Volen was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Dyer. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Volen was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
