Personality: She is happy with her job as a Sailor. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Courier again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: Born to a Miner, her father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Right-Handed lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he seems to be bored by most things
