History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a Spy soon after.

Through the years after Shanairla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
