History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Nil's homeland. Nil decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Drenna was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mason they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Weaver, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
