History: Gruk lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gruk never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Nordak hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ploughman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ploughman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult.
