History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Farmer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Farmer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Farmer for hire.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
