History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Vaina was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Vaina decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. After a long history of fighting, Vaina and her spouse have recently divorced.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
