History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. Through the years after Carrie was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Carrie's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Gifted from a young age, Halander studied abroad. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Halander and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: 5'7" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Skog is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Skog was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Skog grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Skog. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mortician for the past few years.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with her absent father

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others
