Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hupe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. After a long history of fighting, Hupe and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Yurk lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shipwright.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Shipwright responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly bastard swords and daggers. Her long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are brown.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Baker who has hired her part-time. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Hugolina lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Baker for the past few years.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire.
