History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emmeline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
