Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Cask hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Cask was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Brewer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ridaro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
