He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Rivaan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Shoemaker, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Interpreter soon after.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Nedda liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a Ruler, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Katherine was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Katherine and her spouse have recently divorced.
