History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle and is in decent physical shape. Her Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'3" when asserting himself. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
