Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His brass crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fax. He became a Brewer soon after.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Marshal like his father before him.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oskar embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a yellow coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head, marred by beers. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He is baby faced.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He takes great joy in being the best Roofer in town.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. He became a Roofer soon after.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Dwarf, and stands approximately 4'2". He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and his gloved hand is found clutching a rapier. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: Thradal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Navigator kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
