History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sellsword work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sellsword work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Theren was born the youngest of three triplets. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: Leaf is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He takes great joy in being the best Mayor in town.

History: Leaf hails from a village terrorized by drow. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Leaf began to lead the lost caravan. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Smoking's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She bought a lance and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
