History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joan grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
