History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Philomena's homeland. Philomena decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Philomena fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Mamnen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Veloptima will drive conversation. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She got into the Hunter business at a young age. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kellen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
