History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the east to a Doctor, Everard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
