History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and to prove his worth to the world

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Gilbert was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Crown-heir. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: Chassath was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
