Personality: Kerkad is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. History: Kerkad hails from a village terrorized by goblins. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Kerkad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was born in the north. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
