History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Purban took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Purban and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Darrak was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Darrak's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
