History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ratak grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Ratak never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Tree was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Tree has worked very hard to control his curse. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.
