History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Tordek reached his early adolescence his Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Birel took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
